We take the time to understand each person’s strengths and aspirations to ensure we can provide them with a supportive environment that encourages skills development and enables them to perform at their best. No two people (or two careers) are the same. So, we don’t approach them as such. Instead, we focus on the individual and what they specifically need to thrive.

We have an adaptive list of workplace benefits, which often stem from feedback we receive from our team. Some of the benefits we offer include: pet care leave (so you can take time out to look after your furry friends when they get sick), Me Days (an extra day of personal leave each year to do whatever you want), purchased leave (buy extra time off so you can take an extended holiday), body and mind allowance ($200 per year to spend on your health and wellbeing) and more!

We take self-care seriously

We don’t expect (or ask) our team members to come in and do crazy amounts of extra hours. We want you to be refreshed at work. So, we encourage you to use your leave, take breaks and look after yourself. And, like many companies, we have an Employee Assistance Program that team members can access via phone or text message. BUT because we know that sometimes picking up the phone can itself be a barrier to seeking help, we also have a qualified counsellor available on-site in our offices throughout the year. 

We are not an island

EBM RentCover is an active participant in the wider community. Not only do we support landlords and real estate agents, we support impactful charitable organisations. We encourage our team members to give back and get involved in community-based work, through our Purposeful Partnerships program. Our team has raised thousands of dollars for charities they care about (often while walking crazy distances) and volunteered their time at organisations such as Edgars Mission or the ADRA Community Care Centre.

At EBM RentCover, we recognise that people perform varying tasks in their day-to-day work, and therefore need varying working environments to carry out these tasks effectively.

DRIVE. Putting team members in the drivers seat of their career

This is not just your usual performance appraisal!

EBM RentCover recognises that traditional performance conversations are not a lot of fun for team members. They can be nerve-wracking and often unproductive. At EBM RentCover, we do things a little differently and facilitate annual two-way conversations between team members and team leaders.  

Known as DRIVE, this is an opportunity for team members to reflect on the past and gear up for the future. It is all about putting team members in the driver’s seat of their career and encouraging them to navigate the future they desire at EBM RentCover.

DRIVE – which stands for Development, Reflection, Impact, Values and Engagement – is an opportunity for team members to chat candidly about their performance, growth and future goals. Ultimately, it is all about team members!
